I can't believe he is 3 months old today!! Time is flying by. He's getting so big. He doesn't even look like the same baby from the first day he was born.

Never Felt Happiness Like This Before
Feb. 21st, 2009 | 11:24 pm
At 2:51pm on February 19, 2009, I, Amanda Boothby, became a mommy to a beautiful, healthy baby boy!!!!! Weighing in at 8lbs, 4 oz and 20.5 in long. He is the cutest thing in the world. I'm not being biased at all =) Pictures will be posted as soon as possible. In the middle of moving to a new home, so things are quite hectic right now.

It was a beautiful memorial service yesterday. The chaplan did a very good job. I was holding strong and not crying because I was going to be reading a poem I wrote, but when she mentioned the story of me being my dad's miracle baby, I broke down. People who sat in the back told me that when I read my poem, everyone was wiping their eyes. I had to start reading fast towards the end because I couldn't see my own hand writing from the tears. But all in all, it was beautiful and I'm going to miss him so very much.
I love you Dad!

As of 11:20 am on January 8, 2009 my father passedaway peacefully. It came very quickly. We had only just brought him to the Hospice unit that morning at 1:30am. He passed away in his sleep. Unfortunately I was not with him, nor my sister and brother. Luckily my mother was there holding his hand. I teared up a bit but haven't broken down. I've prepared myself for this since the last time he was in the hospital and they intibated him. We have an appointment tomorrow to make all the arrangements for the funeral. Everything just move so fast. I feel terrible for my mom.
**I love you Dad. Always will. I just wish I could have told you one more time.**

Well, I had to work last night. It was pure hell. One of our headcashiers isn't here because she had a death in the family, and she was suppose to be the closing headcashier. Since she wasn't here, they put me as the closing HC, which caused me to have a shortage in cashiers, and it was pretty busy last night too. Fortunately, I had some really good closers. So, all went well, eventually. I had a moronic cashier there until 7, and she did the stupidest thing ever! Sometimes I wonder if she has a fucking brain! She gets a customer who writes a check for $1,162.00 for a special order. The computer prompts to call Certegy to get an authorization number, and it posts the phone number. She calls me over to her, and I explain to her what she needs to do. So she dials the number, and stands there for literally (I timed her) 20 minutes. The customer is beginning to get impatient and upset. I go over there, and ask what is taking so long. She tells me no one is answering. So I take the phone from her, and there is NO sound whatsoever!!! Meaning she didn't dial it right. What a fucking moron! Common sense would prompt you to redial if you don't hear a phone ringing in your ear. So I process the sale and get the authorization number from Certegy. Which took me all of one minute. So she just wasted 19 minutes oft hat guy's life that he'll never get back. I don't know how she manages to keep her job. I would have fired her long time ago.
After work, I went to the gym for an hour. I was on the ellipticals while my sister and Greth were working on there stomachs. I was six minutes into my workout when a guy walks up to me and says my name, so I look up reluctantly because I'm all ready sweaty like a pig and bright red. So, I look up to see who it is, and it's David Godoy! I had a cooking class with him when I was a freshman and he was a junior(?). I had the BIGGEST crush on him ever! LOL. We used to always talk about Dexter's Laboratory, claiming it was the best cartoon ever. LOL. So, he gets on the elliptical trainer next to me, and we workout together catching up on each other's lives. Go to find out that he lives four houses down from me! All these years, and he's only lived just down the street!!! Damn, I need to get out more. Well, when my half hour training was done, he got off as well. He was gonna get going because LA Fitness was closing in ten minutes anyways. So I walked him to the front and he got my number, and gave me a huge. Despite me being hot and smelly, lol. It was all just so surreal.
I said I'd work tonight for one of the HC that's out due to a dislocated shoulder blade. Hopefully it won't suck tonight because I'll actually have plenty of cashiers (crosses fingers, hoping none call in). Ugh! Six days in a row! Ah well, my check will look sweet!

Happy Easter!!!!!!

I had to work today until 4. Management didn't even make us food! On pointless holidays like Valentine's they cook us food, but on freaking Easter, they don't!! I was starving by the time 4 came because I didn't bring any food assuming food was being served. I was out in garden and it was hot as hell, and it was slow. My 6 hour day went by soooooooooooo slow. It was pure torture! Nothing good happened at work. Except I refuse to be nice to another headcashier because she talks trash about my work to our Front End Supervisor. She blows things way out of proportion, but whatever. She'll get hers. To think that I thought she was someone I could befriend. After work, i came home and cleaned up for my sister's BBQ. The food was gooood. I was extremely exhausted because of work and staying up late. I didn't play any of the card games with Eddy's parents. Whose parents I love to death! I wish my future in-laws will be like them!!! Later on we watched two movies. Red Sonia which is an old movie with Arnold Swarzanagerrgegegegrger (however the hell you spell his name), and Brigitte Nielson. Then we watched The Incredibles. Which was a cute and funny movie!!!! It was sooooooo adorable. Came home and my brother, sister-in-law, neighbors, Michelle, Chad, and his girlfriend were outside playing a game. So I went out there and joined them. It's always funny when Chad's there. The shit that comes out of his mouth is freaking hilarious. I miss him hanging around here. But anyways.... at like 9:30 everyone went in because they have work tomorrow. Now I'm sitting here, half asleep typing for you. My sister and I will be going to the gym for the first time tomorrow. Wish me luck! Then I have to work Tuesday thru Sunday straight! I'm gonna die by the time next Monday comes around. Not looking forward to this week. Plus it's Daylight Savings Time this coming Sunday. Ugh!! Luckily I have work at 1 in the afternoon, so I will be able to get some sleep still. Well, i'm gonna go and relax.

I had to work today. Wasn't too bad.. I was out in garden. Granted it was hot as hell, but I got my ass a huge fan for out there. I caught a customer staring at my ass, and let him have it big time! He tried complaining to management but they were on my side. I didn't curse at him, or called him names, so management sided with me. He was just made that I caught him and didn't like him, lol. I got off work at 4, and went to Scrapbook Den with my sister. I got some more stuff for a new special scrapbook I'm making. Jp had called me when we were leaving. I guessed he wanted to hang out tonight, but I still had errands to run with my sister. So he told me to call him back when i got done. Then we went to the new LAFitness and got a membership because I can only take my exercise program so far, and then I need the real machines. I'm hoping to lose a few more inches. Not pounds people! Just inches, so you can calm down. Then my sister, my brother-in-law and I went out to dinner at Sweet Tomatoes. It's our last good meal until gym time. Now I'm home... stuffed as all hell. Tomorrow I have to work, but after that is my sister's Easter BBQ. MMM food!!!!!! She got me an Easter basket... awww. =) I'm a happy camper, lol....... I just received a call from my friend Dennis!!!!! Yay! I miss him! I need to hang out with him asap!........ so anyways, back to my update. Oh wait, I think I'm done. yep... I'm off to play some PS2.

I went to Wal-Mart last night with my sister, and headed straight for the electronics section to look once again if they had any PS2 systems in stock. I assumed they didn't have any, but wanted to check anyways. I go over there and they have nine!!!!!!!!!!!! I got myself one.... been waiting forever for one. Got it home, hooked it up, and went to play and realized I have no good games. I gave away alot of them, and got left with all the driving games. While I was at Wal-mart, I saw a funny ass shirt that I bought. It's a pink shirt that says 'I love my boyfriend'. But then 'love my' is crossed out and written above it says 'need a new'. lol, so it really says 'I need a new boyfriend'. Haha, I love it! My Wal-Mart run was so much fun because I was with Greth and my sister..... ahhh good times.
I have to say I hate the Sofa King commercial on 93.1 She says it completely wrong, but whatever.
Well, anyways, just wanted to tell you about my PS2 system that I FINALLY got. I'm off to Subway now! MMMM Southwest Chipotle Cheesesteak!!!!!!!!

I had to work today, and around 7:30pm I went on my break. My break was almost done when my Front End Supervisor (FES) came in and asked me to come into the office. There was a problem that needed to be settled with Tanya, the store manager. I was scared shitless! LOL. I went in the office and she tells me that a customer complained about me, and bringing up that I made racial slurs about him. I was shocked, until I heard my FES snicker. Then I knew they were screwing with me. So, then she goes to tell me that I have been selected for the position of headcashier. So I will no longer be a regualr cashier. I will be getting the promotion raise, and no more register for me! Yay! Well, anyways. Tanya then goes to tell me about the promotion raise, and tells me the 5 cents will be on my next paycheck. I was shocked! I told her, "No way, you can have it! I'm not doing it!" She told me that I am making way too much as a regular cashier, and the 5 extra cents will put me in the bracket for headcashiers. I kept saying no way! Then she laughed and said she was kidding. During the whole meeting, they kept screwing with me because Jasun told her I was gullable and will believe anything! LOL, but it is true. She told me that she had to look at the paper work, but she will tell me what my raise will be. I laughed to myself because I just received my yearly review just last night, and got a raise. So yeah... that's my good news. Now I just have to take a drug test on Monday in B.F.E. Wish me luck!

I just finished reading Dan Brown's Angels and Demons, and omg!!!! That book was soooo good! I could not for the life of me put it down! Is it possible to marry Dan Brown's writing styles? LOL. Now I need to buy his other books: Digital Fortress, and Deception Point. Hoepfully those will be just as good, but unfortunately I can't get them any time soon because I have about 95 other books to read, lol. I'm serious! I just started another book called The Light of Falling Stars by J. Robert Lennon. It seems pretty good so far.
The Light of Falling Stars:
A plane falls from the sky as a couple argues in their yard, the whine of its engines drowning out their voices, parts of the craft shearing off the roof of their house. A few miles away, a young man waits for his girlfriend at the airport, while in a long-empty house, an old woman anticipates the return of the husband who left her many years ago. The crash of an airplane on the outskirts of Marshall, montana, takes more than just the lives of those on board. Two days later, a stranger appears at the home of the couple who watched the plane go down. The lone survivor of the disaster, he becomes a witness to the disintegration of the couple's marriage.

Today was semi-perfect! I went clothes shopping at 7:30 tonight. I went with my sister, and it was fun. She's so brutally honest when it comes to clothes shopping. I picked out a pair of pants that I thought were cute on the hanger, and when I tried them on and showed her, she told me, "I don't like those." She told me that about twenty times until I finally took a good look at myself in the mirror and realized the pants looked funny on me. I spent almost $250, and still have more shopping to do! I don't fit into any of my clothes that I have now, so I had to buy a whole new wardrobe. I plan to spend about $250 more. I couldn't do it all tonight because the store closes at 9, and I got there at 7:30pm. Besides, my arms were killing me from holding all the clothes and trying to shop. So, I'll definitely be back to get more! That's really about it. I don't have much to update, just thought I'd share my shopping experience, lol. I was bored, and felt like typing... so now you all must endure the pain of reading this boring entry! LOL. Or you can just scroll down! Well, i'm off to finish my book by Dan Brown titled Angels and Demons (ps. such an awesome book!).
My closing phrase that I saw somewhere: Don't hate me because I'm beautiful, hate yourself because you're ugly. (LOL)

Screw You!!!!!!!!!
That's right, I said it! Screw everyone who has been giving me shit about the weight I have lost. I'm completely healthy, and I'm within my healthy weight range for my height and age. I'm not regressing back to anorexia, so get that idea out of your head right now! I like how I look right now, and am more confident too. So screw you all who have been doing nothing but hatin'!!! I know I was never fat... just a curvy girl, but I didn't feel comfortable with myself. Some people are, but I wasn't.
This is a warning to all: The next person to comment about my weight loss in a negative or demeaning way, I'm going to punch in the face. No shit! That's a promise!
